Belief Statement

We believe that every person is uniquely created and loved by God and therefore important to Him. We believe that God's will is to love, watch over, and prosper each and every person who will come to Him through faith in His son Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 29:11)

We believe that there is only one God, as revealed to us by Him through the Bible, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 45:21)

We believe that the Bible (all 66 books of the Old and New Testament) is the inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)

We believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. We believe that the three facts of his virgin birth, miracles he performed, and the resurrection from the dead prove him to be just who he said he was - The Son of God. (Matthew 3:17, Acts 2:22)

We believe heaven and hell are both literal places and are the only two final destinations for all of mankind; they that are saved to heaven, and they that are lost to hell. (John 5:28-29)

We believe that the only way to be saved is through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit (being born again). Salvation comes only by grace through faith and cannot be earned by human efforts. God has provided redemption from our sins through Jesus Christ. We believe that accepting God's gift of salvation will lead to a life devoted to following and obeying Him. (John 3:3, Ephesians 2:4-10)

We believe God's will for His church is to live in unity through Jesus Christ, bearing each other in love and encouraging each other to work out his or her own salvation with fear and trembling. It should be the heart of all believers to work together for the purpose of expanding the kingdom of God by putting aside our differences and reaching out to the lost until our blessed Lord and Savior comes to take us home. (Colossians 3:12-17)

We believe that we are what we are by the grace of God and that all good and lasting work ever done in and through this church is done only by the grace of God as he loves and chooses to work through his children. Thus, God alone is to be praised and glorified for every good work ever accomplished. (Ephesians 2:4-10)

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

II Timothy 2:15
